A panino for the ages. Crisp roll with imported Italian mortadella, a slice of mozzarelle, lettuce and a balsamic dressing. Superb.

 Imported torchietti al limone pasta in a light tomato sauce with plenty of basil. An ideal summer lunch dish to delight the palate.

 I had prepared some avocado salad and decided to add some canned mackerel in olive oil for a more nutritious meal. The result was a delightfully memorable lunch.

 Broccoli, cauliflower and chickpeas seasoned by good EVO, lemon juice and cardamon for a healthful and delicious lunch.

 It's Christmas eve and it's lunch time so I 'm busy preparing for the cenone or the big Christmas eve dinner. I have to eat something so I decide on a classic aglio, olio e peperoncino. But I have some really nice pomodorini, just a handful and not enough for anything planned so I add them. The result is a combination of arrabbiata and aglio, olio e peperoncino. Delicious on the palate and a very  nice on the eyes. 

Italian spaghetti with asparagus, peas and sausage. A perfect combination of flavors.

 Eating in Sicily. Fresh caserecce pasta with pomodorini and muddica atturrata or toasted breadcrumbs. The latter add a delightful twist making a simple pasta utterly delicious.

 Trofie pasta with broccoli. A light dish for lunch on Christmas eve when the food will be very plentiful and of great variety. 

 Zucchine are very versatile and when paired with good canned tuna in olive oil, a very flavorful sauce is the result. I used imported Italian spaghetti always al dente for a simple but delicious lunch.
