Yours truly in our house Sicily. I had just prepared delicious spaghetti with all local and very fresh zucchine, pomodorini. Very nice.

 Fresh cod fish deep fried in pastella, Italian for batter. Accompanied with a simple salad of steamed cauliflower and broccoli seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, black pepper and a hint of garlic. Very nice.

 Sliced sirloin steak with mushrooms cooked in a red wine reduction. A contorno or side order of lightly sautéed broccoli completed the dish. Delightful.

 Another delicious example of eating in Sicily. Fettuccin ewith pomodorini, basil and garlic. Simple but very tasty.

Italian roasted triangoli ravioli with the famous Sicilian arriminata  sauce. Mage with cauliflowers, pinoli, toasted bread crumbs with a hint of anchovies. Absolutely delicious.

        One of the simplest and most delicious dish appropriate for this season. Spaghetti with kholrabi in a light but spicy sauce. The trick is to find tender kohlrabi.
