Early digital
These images date from 2001 and were shot with the Olympus E-10, it was my first serious digicam, My first was the Nikon Coolpix 990 that was useless on jobs, The photos here are all from what is Called DUMBO, the area udder the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges on the Brooklyn side, This area ha become seriously gentrified and is full of hipsters.

The Jamaica Wildlife Refuge
The Jamaica Wildlife Refuge is a fascinating place to visit and explore. It is run by the US Park Service and it's free. It has views of Manhattan at a distance and the nearer Rockaways while you can see and hear the jets landing and taking off from JFK that is just across the eastern section of the refuge..

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
