Le bancarelle
During the summer months In Castellammare's Piazza Petrolo overlooking the sea, bancarelle or stands are set up selling a variety of very interesting products ranging from housewares to food. The most colorful are those dealing in artisanal goods such as canned and dried edibile products. There is even a stand with an American Indian motif selling Peruvian native music CD's. Needless to say, this is a very attractive area and is always quite busy. There are also some very good restaurants in Piazza Petrolo thus adding to the attraction. A very fun place to go on hot nights.

The Valley of the Temples, Agrigento
Back in 1972, these temples were open to all but now they are part of an archeological park museum. It's full of tourists who must pay admission. Here we see a wedding party climbing to the top to have photos taken. I wonder haw these people are doing. They are probably grand parents now. At any rate, this photo was shot using a Canon FT with a Canon 28mm F 3.5 FL lens on Tri-X. Those were the days.
