During the summer months In Castellammare's Piazza Petrolo overlooking the sea, bancarelle or stands are set up selling a variety of very interesting products ranging from housewares to food. The most colorful are those dealing in artisanal goods such as canned and dried edibile products. There is even a stand with an American Indian motif selling Peruvian native music CD's. Needless to say, this is a very attractive area and is always quite busy. There are also some very good restaurants in Piazza Petrolo thus adding to the attraction. A very fun place to go on hot nights.
Greetings, this blog is dedicated to my life in photography and my passion for good Italian food.. I want to make this a place to stop and relax. In the hope that this will provide some respite and peace. Thank you for visiting.
