PHOTO OF THE DAY: 4-1-10 Canon 5D
April may be the cruelest month but the word April alone puts me in a good mood. It's really spring! This shot is from Lido D'Ostia outside Fiumicino airport in Rome. Ostia was Rome's port and is a very important archeological city. The lens was the much maligned 24-85 3.5-4.5 EF. A great travel lens no matter what the silly pixel peekers say.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
