The Elton Hotel / Canon Ft
What do you do during snowy wintry days, you scan old photos. This shot of the Hotel Elton a block away from my Studio in the East side of Manhattan was shot on one of those June evenings when the sun hangs around. I just love the long days. The late night is coming from the west side and is illuminating the walls and fire escapes. The lens as the fantastic Canon 50 mm F 1.4 FL. Tri-x developed in D-76 1:1. I just love that lazy summer feeling that this photo captures.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
