Yes, a photo of myself that I like to share. taken by my very accomplished daughter, Jennifer Galatioto, a professional photographer of note in NYC. She used the Canon 5D with the 50mm f1.4 EF lens, I quite like this photo; it appeases my vanity.

You do not have to go far away to take photos. This was taken in the fall of 2007 with the Canon 1D II and the 18-35 2.8 L Canon lens. The place is Juniper Valley park. a block from my home.

This past Labor Day weekend at the North Fork of Long Island. I still find it hard to believe that vinifera grapes can be grown there with such success. Years ago, when I first saw the Long Island vineyards, I almost cried. I found it very moving to be living on the same island where wine grapes could grow.

There's no place like the Brooklyn Botanic Garden at any day of the year. This is especially true on a winter day. Taken in early January of 2008 with the Canon 20D and the Canon 16-35 2.8 L.
