Photo of the day: 3-6-10 Nikon D700

There nothing like a trip to Arthur Avenue in The Bronx for finding great food and an occasional street shot. Shot with the superlative 35-70 F2.8D Nikkor.

Photo of the day: March 5, 20010 Canon 5DII

Shot last night at a Future's for Education reception with the 24-105F4. The only lens needed at a job.
BTW, The Futures in Education Foundation provided scholarships for needy chilgren so that they can attend Catholic schools in the Diocese of Brooklym & Queens. A very fine goup of people.

Photo of the day: 3-4-10 Nikon D700

I was hoping that with the passing of February spring would leap forward, but alas it's not the case. This image was shot in NE Pennsylvania where the snow keeps on falling. The D700 at ISO 800 with the Nikkor 28-105 F3,5-4.5. The snow is pretty but enough already.

Same lovely day in Coney Island. The D700 with the 28-105 3.5-4.5 Nikkor. I hope they never tear the Cyclone down.

Photo of the day March 1, 2010 Nikon D200

Finally it's March and can St. Patrick's day be far away. This shot was taken at a St. Patrick's Day event in 2007 with the D200 and the 17-55 2.8 lens.

Photo of the day: Feb. 28-10 Canon 1DII

Finally the last day of February; can spring be far behind? Hopefully not to far away.
This shot was with the 1DII and the 70-200 F4 L; a very sharp lens.
