A view from the bridge

Image
Shot while riding on a bus on the 59th  Street Bridge. This bridge was officially known as the Queensborough Bridge and recently it was renamed as the Edward R. Kotch Bridge but to all true New Yorkers it will always be the 59th Street Bridge.

Have a geat weekend

It's hard to believe that this is in Central Park, in Manhattan. A great place to visit.

The images speak for themselves, as it were. But this is truly an amazing city full of exquisite art, architecture and superb food.

The Jamaica Wildlife Refuge

Image
The Jamaica Wildlife Refuge is a fascinating place to visit and explore. It is run by the US Park Service and it's free. It has views of Manhattan at a distance and the nearer Rockaways while you can see and hear the jets landing and taking off from JFK that is just across the eastern section of the refuge..
