The images I find
As I have stated before, I am scanning my slides and negatives as to protect them from deterioration. Naturally, I come across images that I had totally forgotten. Some of the ones that i feel are above average, I want to share with you from time to time. The red leaf was shot in the Palisade in the fall of 1975, while the green plant was shot in Mount Riga State Park in Connecticut in May of 1971. The color on the Kodachromes is still vibrant and true.

A walk in the park
This is where I walk my beautiful dog Charlie each morning - rain or shine . as it were. This morning I took my trusted Lumix GX-1 with a 12-32 mm lens to capture the remains of the blizzard. The media terrorists, they try to terrorize us, had the city dead and buried. Not so, not by a long shot. This is New York after all. We do not give in that easily. I realize that the shoveling has been difficult and that some streets are still not plowed but we are alive and kicking. I just wanted all my dear followers and visitors to know.

Abstraction
Images are everywhere waiting to be captured. You only need to have l'occhio vivo, or eyes at the ready, not to mention a camera or phone these days, to capture them. These images were by a small stream upstate New York. Captured on TriX Pan 120 on my Rolleiflex. I used to enjoy shooting medium format film.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
