Have a peaceful Saturday. Relax if you can.

Image
This old Kodachrome  II scan shot with the Nikon FTn and the Nikkor 35 mm F 2.8 lens always makes me relax. It is a very peaceful image shot in Quebec Ville many years ago.

Have a lovely weekend

I love New York

Image
It's really an amazing city full of life and energy. Here we see the lower New York bay at dusk and early night when it assumes a deceivingly peaceful look.

Very interesting. Thank you hipsters

A revival of film? With  an increase in film sales Kodak will bring back Ektachrome.  Go figure.

Venice at dusk

Image
The end of the day is usually the most interesting time to shoot. It's when the light becomes almost magical. These images were  obviously shot in Venice the most unusual city in the world.

Odd figures

Image
There are images all around and if one has l'occhio vivo that in Italian means an attentive eye they are easy to spot. These rather ugly statues were photographed in a plant nursery. Their function was to adorn front yards. I was being sarcastic. Nevertheless, they are interesting images.

Winter scenes

Image
With winter here, can spring be far behind? Well winter is here and no matter what the optimists may say it's long, tiresome and utterly nasty, It does provide for some photo ops and for this I am thankful.

Orta

Image
This lovely town in Piemonte, Italy gives L'Ago D'Orta it's name. It's a lovely place with narrow streets and many courtyards. being in Italy, the food is exemplary.

Winter look

The holidays are over and now we must face up to winter and so the blog assumes a wintry look.

HAPPY 2017
