Rocco Galatioto, nice photos and good food

There's something about the color of the D1X that makes me return to the many images I shot with them. Great color. Just 5.6 mega pixels nut what image quality! This was shot in 2006 during the winter and the geraniums are from one of my flower pots. Just fooling around with the D1X and the 60mm f2.8 Micro Nikkor.

Winter is not even here but I'm dreaming spring. This was shot at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in early April of 2009 with the D700 and the 14mm 2.8 Nikkor.

It's the same venue as yesterday's photo with the same camera and lens. I just love the reflected hands of the maestro.

Shot yesterday at the Alive in Hope Foundation's Bishop's Luncheon. The foundation raises funds so that poor children can attend Catholic schools. Shot with the D700 and the 29-105 3.5-4.5 Nikkor.
