Arthur Avenue

Image
Alas, this is probably the last important "Little Italy" in the USA. It's not what it used to be but it still rocks. Naturally it's all about the food here. The area is full of food stores, restaurants and household boutiques. These wer e shot at Teitel, an institution on Arthur Avenue.

Made in USA

Image
There was a time when it seemed that virtually everything was made in the USA. Cars are still made here but they do not fire the imagination like the old ones. This restored 1949 Ford was parked in Carbondale Pennsylvania. They really no not make things as they used t o.

Old Coney Island

Image
This is the  original site where  the present Keyspan Stadium now lies. It's an old shot taken with the Leica M-4, the 35mm Summicron F2 on Tri-X Pan. It seems like just yesterday. .

Love that bridge

I'm crazy about the Brooklyn bridge whose architecture spans the old and the new. Rocks and metal. I have photographed countless times but I'm always fascinated.

Tough shot

This is the type of shot that almost makes you quit the profession.

Two from Marcy

Image
I have always complimented my talented wife about her images. She used a Canon G-9 that finally died. It was replaced by a Nikon Coolpix L-620 so naturally we went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. These silhouettes show her talent. I will post more of her images soon.
