Rocco Galatioto, nice photos and good food

This is was the mother of a friend of mine. We passed by and being lunch time and because she was Italian, we naturally had to eat. What superb lunch what great hospitality. Truly unforgettable. I used my Leica M-4 and Tri-X Pan, what else.

If you keep yours eyes open ( occhio vivo ), photos pop up everywhere. This girl way just being funny and I captured the moment.

The George Washington Bridge spas the Hudson River and connects Manhattan with Fort Lee, New Jersey. Built in the thirties it still looks like new. It's always a thrill crossing it.

You do not have to roam far especially in these days in order to grab some shots.

Known as the wine country, Long Island's main wine region is just wonderful. Some people put these wines down but I love many of them. If this makes me un sophisticated so be it. The real meaning of sophisticated means not adulterated si I guess that's a complement. We go here often because we live on the same island. When I see the area it reminds me of Sicily. I come from the Province of Trapani that is the most vinified region in Europe. Among the wines made there are Marsala and Alcamo. At any rate, it's worth exploring this region. Unlike the Finger Lakes the grapes grown here are not hybrids but true vinifera.
