Rocco Galatioto, nice photos and good food

Some grand panoramas of Tuscany as many remember it with castles and buildings on the hilltops thus making  memorable shots.

There are photos everywhere waiting to be made. Here are some pretty ceramics outside a store in Erice, Sicily that caught my eye.

Something prosaic as a regular street scene can be made to appear as an interesting photo if the shot is framed well. Under these awnings the images acquire a more you are there feeling. The viewer feels as he is actually walking or is participating. Just my opinion.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year here in the north eastern USA. I just love the bright sunny days with ultra blue skies and naturally the fall colors th at abound.

I love this old barn and I have posted photos of it at different times of the year. On a cloudy day the feeling is very intense.

Smack across from mid town Manhattan lies the industrial area known as Long Island City. Parts of it are already becoming gentrified and hipsterized  but a lot of interesting industrial buildings remain so that nice shots can be made.

These oil lamps in  an antiques shop attracted my attention so, naturally, I photographed them.
