What can I say.../ Nikon D-200

Image
I love Venice. I also do not have many images where I am at the present, in the computer I'm using so please be understanding.

A rose by any other name....E PL-2

Image
Well you know the rest of the sentence. This gorgeous rose was photographed in that wonderful urban park in Westerly Rhode Island.

Not a cloud in the sky / E PL-2

Image
Shot after my arrival in Venice this spring. The lens was the 9-18 F 4-5.6 Zuiko. There's hardly any distortion. Very nice setup.

Meat Packing District / E PL-2

Image
This recent shot taken with the 9-18mm F 4-5.6 Zuico lens, shows the amazing architectural contrasts and vitality of this are.

From the archives / Nikon Ftn

Image
This B&W conversion of a Kodachrome that uncharacteristically turned magenta, is og Place Marie in Montreal. The lens was the Nikkor 35mm F 2.8.

Lone chair / E-PL 2

Image
This chair was on a loading dock on west 13th Street in lower Manhattan. This is the meat packing district that has become real interesting now. The lens was the Digital Zuiko 9-18 F 4-5.6.

Close to home / Canon 5-D

Image
I had just gotten my 5D, my first FF DSLR so I was eager to use it. I only took a 24mm EF F2.8 lens and these are some results.

High ISO test / Nikon D-700

Image
I was amazed at the fact that this photo, basically half a frame was shot at ISO 1600. There is no grain. This sort of performance was impossible with film.

My aunt / Canon 30D

Image
This photo of my paternal aunt Terina was shot in her home in Sicily. She died less than a year later. Shw was a great k=lady, full of life and love. I miss her.

Farmer's market produce / Nikon Ftn

Image
Home from a rip to the country, I placed the produce on a table and used only window light with a white reflector. The lens was the Nikkor 59mm F 1.4 and the film was high speed Ektachrome.

Cupola, Firenze / Canon FT

Image
Another Agfachrome shot that has some color fading issues. I did my best in PS. The lens was a Soligor 135 F 2.8. No zooms were available yet for general usage.
