Sometimes it takes only one image to capture the soul of a place or event. In my humble opinion this image says it all about Lancaster County PA.

Yes, it's this beautiful
The old tonnara of Scopello, in Sicily. Here tuna fishing boats would stage the annual tuna fishing event that was extremely dangerous and labor intensive. Today tunas are no longer fished here and the place has become a tourist attraction. This is a vintage archival Kodachrome scan.
I miss this view
Many years have passed since September 11 but my heart is still broken. Nothing can replace the Twin Towers; nothing can bring back this view.
Tourist with guts
This gutsy tourist was shot in Tangiers a "few" years ago. That's a cobra and she was being a good sport.

This small street is now very upscale but way back when it was rather run down. We lived across the street in a place that has a superb view of the sea.
