Arthur Avenue

The Belmont section of The Bronx is actually the premiere Little Italy in New York City. Not as large as in the past, it still sports a great variety of food stores, wine shops, bakeries and restaurants. This is a typical street scene.

Yes indeed, Florence is a jewel of a city. High praises coming from a Sicilian.

This lone canoe was photographed late in the afternoon on the River Arno in Florence. The camera was a Nikon D-200.

One evening at Keyspan Park

My how time flies, these were shot 11 years ago! This lovely minor league park in Coney Island is home of the Brooklyn Cyclones. It was built not over the Cyclone roller coaster but on the site of the old Tornado roller coaster and right under the old parachute. Needless to say it was a memorable evening in a stadium that makes the game very close an d personal.

From Madison Square Park

Madison Square park, is one of Manhattans nicest and one the resembles the parks in European cities. From here one can photograph the Empire Sate Building and the city's most beautiful edifice, the Flat Iron Building.

Have a wonderful week

This gorgeous boy is the grandson of my cousin. It took many attempts before I was able to make two decent images. He was too self conscious in the beginning but when he returned to play with his toy cars, I was able to make my candid portraits. Children are not easy to photograph. These were of course hand held and were shot with the  Lumix GX-1
