Some zeppole fryer

This photo of a very sexy zeppole fryer was shot a few years ago at the Mount Carmel feast in Brooklyn. There's a dynamism that goes behind the obvious voluptuousness. I had forgotten about this one so I want to share it. Needless to say I did stop to buy some zeppole here.

He a lovely weekend

Old lamp

This Ektachrome slide was shot in a so called antique shop on Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn. I'm amazed to see the amount of data captured by the original slide and the amount that the scanner was able to preserve. This is not easy lighting and many modern digicams could have difficulties in capturing this amount of detail without saturating the highlights.

Philly

Philadelphia is a lovely city replete with historical sites. These images are from the old section of town that has been gentrified. I love this city but coming from the Big Apple I sort of miss the crowds. There aren't  enough people to satisfy my anti agoraphobia. There must be another term but who cares.

La costa ligure tanto tempo fa

Yes it was a long time ago and now this area is very crowded but it's a nice photo that recalls great times and simpler days.

Enjoy your Sunday

Here is what it was like in Central Park in the early seventies. It's so strange to see how people interacted. They actually spoke to one another and even held hands. So strange. How did they manage without smart phones? Life must have been dreadful.
