Venezia vuota / E PL 2
Indeed, empty Venice. Unlike it's main streets and well known piazze, the side streets and plazas are always empty. Being a virtual museum, Venice has a very small number of inhabitants. Most of the people working the tourist trade live in near by Mestre. They come in the morning and then leave. The side streets ans alleys are always empty. There is the occasional Veneziano, usually somewhat old, and the more than occasional lost tourist. It makes for some interesting but troubling photos. Lovely as it is, it is really so much different and unusual not to mention expensive that most prefer to live elsewhere.

Westerrly R.I. / E PL2
A truly wonderful town with a great book store among many attractions. The most striking feature of this town that borders on Western Connecticut is it's stupendous park. It is really world class and is located smack in the center of town. A private foundation takes excellent care of it's grounds as they afford a peaceful escape from the usual aggravations. A must place to visit and enjoy.
