         Another dish prepared in Sicily with eggplants found only there and pomodorini to die for. Shaved soft primo sale cheese was sprinkled on top. Delightful.

         The classic and timeless architectural features of this superb building always leave me speechless. Of course,  this is the famous New York landmark popularly known as the Flat Iron Building. I just love it and must have photographed hundreds of times. A true phenomenon.

         Rigatoni with radicchio and walnuts. This is a simple dish that is popular in northern Italy it's not only delicious, but it makes a great picture.

         La tonnara di Scopello or where the tuna nets and boats were kept for fishing large tunas. Sadly, this practice has given way to modern techniques so now the buildings have been converted in a luxury B and B. The colors are real, no Photoshop. Scopello is in the territory of Castellammare del Golfo in Sicily.

     The splendor of fall can also be enjoyed in the city. This manipulated iPhone image is an example.

         T here's always Venice to fill bring up the rear. There are no words to describe this jewel on the Adriatic Sea. Not a city but a phenomenon. I always find new wonders each time I go there. This is Piazza San Marco under a clear and blue Italian sky.

           Fresh  tuna steak Sicilian style sautéed with red onions and pinoli and a dash of white vinegar. The contorni were a cauliflower risotto and fried cubed eggplants. Just wonderful/
