Have a wonderful weekend

Finally

Image
This daffodil hill is my favorite spring site in the Brooklyn Botanic and I've photographed yearly since 1969. I believe that I've finally shot it right. Perhaps it was the dull day that brought out the yellow but I really like the results. The camera was an old Olympus EP L-2, a mere 10 megapixel unit. Go figure.

More from the campagna romana

This is an area around Rome replete with ruins and a working aqueduct. A great place to visit if in Rome.

Walking Charlie

Image
He who must be walked. A daily routine that begins with my very early rise and beginning the walk at about 7:00 AM. Juniper Valley Park is a block away and the walk begins in earnest. Always armed with my iPhone, I occasionally see interesting light so I fire away- The weather has been very wet and rainy so the morning light creates some nice opportunities. After 50 or so years of shooting, I'm still at it.

My heart is broken

There are no words to describe this tragedy. No consolation. Just great sorrow.

We all mourn.

Saving the planet

while having some fun too; and why not? Earth day back in 1990 in New York City. Every one had a grand time.
