Breathtaking

Breathtaking is the one adjective to describe Porto Fino in Liguria, Italy. It's one of these places that leaves indelible images and very happy memories. Simply beautiful.

Ethnic dancers

Image
What I used to enjoy about my work was the people assignments. These images were shot at a family service center in Queens, NYC that was run by Catholic Charities, my costumer. These were Columbian folk dancers putting on a very lively show. It was followed by Chinese dancers. Queens is New York City's most diverse borough and it seems that English is seldom heard, I love to live in Queens in a neighborhood where I can find all the Italian provisions for my cooking. Just wonderful.

The will be here soon enough, enjoy

A Rollei and Tri-X, pure black and white medium format heaven

Image
Tri-X Pan Professional has an ASA (ISO) of 320 very fast then but terribly slow now. Developed in D-76 full strength it created sublime images. But that was then and film  is no longer viable. Too bad. These images were all shot in the late eighties in  NE Pennsylvania.

Picnic on the Seine

Image
There are many wonderful things to do in Paris but a picnic on the banks of the Seine has to be one of the best indulgences,

Have a peaceful Sunday
