Rocco Galatioto, nice photos and good food

Pennsylvania's Lancaster County is one of the most visited tourist area in the US. Because of this popularity, it is losing it's original feel and quality. To many touristy places. The Amish farms are still there and so are some of the smaller villages but you must go these soon before it all becomes plastic and spurious.

Hopefully the cold weather will cease and delightful summer days will follow. As for spring, I'm not very hopeful this year. We shall see.

The Walter K Hoerning Fund is an organization that offers enrichment programs for inner city kids. I volunteer my services and mi wife is on the board.These shots were taken at an awards program at the Brooklyn Conservatory of music where some of the children show how they have progressed.

New York is a continuing street show especially on weekends. This is an old film shot made some time ago in the South Street Seaport area.

Sometimes one photo can capture the spirit of a place by being emblematic. This image was shot in Florence's historic center a few years ago.

This  quiet photo of a window on the left bank always brings me a sense of peace and tranquillity. It was shot long ago but the scan was successful in reproducing the tonality.
