Strawberry woman

This classic "church lady" was holding court at the Zion Episcopal Church annual strawberry festival in Bayside Queens. She was some character and sadly one that will not be replaced in the future.

This charming street singer as performing in Provincetown, Cape Cod on a mild evening in late spring. She was enjoying herself and the people responded with approval.

I already posted and raved about this wonderful bread and breakfast in Sandwich, MA. This time i will highlight the wonderful breakfast served there. The photos speak for themselves 

Quiet streets

These photos were shot in New Bedford, MA in an area that is undergoing much restoration. The homes are being brought back to their former glory.

NYC subway

The NYC subway system may not be the most beautiful or even the most convenient but it is open 24 hours a day and carries more people than any other system. Without a doubt it's the most rapid way to get around. It is also a great place to photograph but it is not an easy place to do so. With smartphones it had gotten easier and people are more used to being photographed. These two images were made with a rather big  pro digital camera and afterward i did get the permission from the subjects.

 Main streets in small towns are very special. These photos were taken in Niantic, Connecticut on a warms and sunny late spring day.
