Anothe very relaxing place is the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. These shot were taken in the rose garden while they were watering the flowers, I got pleasantly showered. That cold water felt goo. The D 700 was able to take the "rain." The lens was the 28-105 F3.5-4.5 Nikkor set at macro. This is a very good and versatile lens. Not too big and unobtrusive.
Nothing like a walk on the Brooklyn bridge to chert you up and on a sunny winter day that is a good prescription to cheer you up. I used the Nikkor 80-300 F3.5-5.6. The bridge is a great vantage point.
These shots were As I go through my old cd's to re burn them, I keep fingid many great shots with the S1. It always amazes me what that sensor could do. These shots were taken at Breezy Point a gated community in Queens that appears to be really somewhere else.
The venerable D1X, was Nikon's best camera in capturing great color. It did not have that Nikon look that followed it. It wasn't bluish in it's cast like all other subsequent Nikon digital. DSLR's. These were shot at the Queens Botanical Garden with the Nikkor 60mm F2.8 Micro. ENJOY!
My exploration of early files from yje S1 Pro continue. I'm still amazed at the quality that this puny 3 mega pixel sensor put out. These shots are of the DUMBO area in Brooklyn. A nice place to go on a sunny winter day.
Some photos of my nephew and niece with the 24-105 F4 L. BTW, the young lady took the photo that is my new facebook picture. Not Bad! These are JPEGS out of the camera.
