These gorgeous peonies are no longer part of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden as some building program caused their demise. A terrible move. I have only the images and great memories.

An archival shot from the NYC mayoral campaign of Mario Cuomo. He lost but eventually became a three term Governor of New York State. The lens was the superlative Nikkor 105 F 2.5 that I still use on my digital cameras. Shot on Tri-X developed in D-76 full strength.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
