Archive shot with the Fuji S1 Pro

Image
Cannot get enough pleasure in looking at the S1 Pro images. The camera was a knock out. Very poor body but what image quality! The lens was the 80-300 ED f 3.505.6 Nikkor.

My very first digital shots Nikon 990

What a nice camera, what a nice sensor, what clean Jpegs.Makes you almost feel that we really do not need all these mega pixels. It had it's faults but the IQ was tops.

Thinkihg of spring Fuji S1-Pro

Image
I know that I am an hopeless romantic and also nostalgic about my Fuji S1-Pro. The venue is the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in early spring. These are some of the first shots with this great camera. The lens was the 60mm F 2,8 Micro Nikkor.

One from the archives

Image
This heavily made up woman was visiting a resident at a nursing home. I shot this on Fuji 400 CN film and scanned. The date is the fall of 1996 and the camera was the Nikon F-100 with he Nikkor 105 F 2.5.

Winter with the Canon 20-D

Image
It's coming, and it can be beautiful; winter that is. Being one of the most beautiful places anywhere, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden has always something of wonder noi matter what time of the year. These shots taken in early January of 2008 with the 20D and the 16-35 F 2.8 L prove this statement. Who says you need a billion pixels to get the job done.

Catherina with the Canon G-11

Shots of this tourist in Sicily with the G-11. Not the ideal camera for these shots but what the Problems with my high speed line due to the storm have precluded postings. This is being rectified.
