Mystic Connecticut at dusk

It's always the light that changes what could be a prosaic scene into a strong image. This image was made in Mystic after the sun had set and only crepuscular light remained.

Of course I mean in north eastern Pennsylvania. The winter is slowing loosing it's grip as the days get longer and the daytime temperatures are less cold. As a result the snow begins to melt and my thoughts are about spring.

It's one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and has the oldest history of any Italian city. Ortigia, the old city is a true gem but the whole surrounding area is full of important Greek and Roman monuments. Here is a street scene in Ortigia photographed at early night but with a still blue  summer sky.

This image was originally shot with a medium format camera with Ektachrome Professional 100, that was scanned. It has a very strange feeling but I like it and want to share it with you. There are images all over.
