The fall show has begun

Image
The foliage is almost at it's peak and is creating a lovely show here in the North East. These images are from an early morning walk before the Sun had risen.

Have a brilliant weekend

How much is that kitty in the window?

My wife Marcy is perhaps a greater cat lover than  I am. She finds all sort of cat photo ops. These cats are in store windows on Arthur Avenue in The Bronx, the last remaining real Little Italy in the USA.

It's a living

Image
The naked cowboy who is not really totally naked, is a fixture in Times Square. Here nothing fazes New Yorkers but tourists find this diverting. He poses and accepts tips. It's a way to make a living.

Archival shot

Image
This image dates from October of 1968 and was taken with my very first single lens reflex camera, a Kova Setr. It was shot on Ektachrome 64. The location is Orange County, NY.

I love this city

This is an image of the Manhattan Bridge from Brooklyn. The time of day makes the images magical.

Rural garage sale, long ago

Image
Three archival slide scans from 120 Ektachrome shot in upstate New York circa 1973. The camera was the Yashica 124. I miss the square format because of it's compositional possibilities. How time  just flies by.

Have a beautiful week
