Archival shot
Of course New York is not all glitter and it has it's less than pleasant areas and scenes. This photo from the early seventies was shot in a rather expensive area - of course all areas of Manhattan are and have always been over priced - in the 20's on the East side. It does make for an interesting image. This was also a color slide that faded and I had to convert to black and white.

Let's get real
This blog stays away from controversies; nevertheless, there are times when I must add my two cents. All this nonsense about immigration especially from Mexico must be addressed. I can do it This image was shot by my talented wife, Marcy last spring. better with pictures. Here we have an Italian specialty foods store in
the Arthur Avenue section of The Bronx staffed totally by Mexicans.
These are very hard working people that are very simpatici.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
