Archival shot.

This Kodachrome II slide scan dates from 1973 and was shot in what was to become the South Street Seaport. It was then being planned. I used my trusted Nikkor 105 f2.5 on a Nikon FTn.

Summer is finally here, enjoy

With  summer come hot days and there's no better place to seek a peaceful spot in a park to get relief while enjoying the beauty of the season. This is especially true for urban dwellers.

I just love this bridge

No matter how one captures it, it's always beautiful. This is an early Digital image made with the Olympus E-20

Killer roses

The rose garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is heavenly. The variety of roses is very large in numbers and of high quality. Their beauty is jaw dropping.  If one goes during a dry period, the roses are almost perfect. A rain storm can cause them damage but the garden is open until late fall so there are always lovely roses to be seen and appreciated.
