These images were made this spring in an area of the Left Bank across from Notre Dame. A quiet and lovely area. Just delightful.

Sometimes only black and white can evoke certain feelings. Solitude is one of them. Both images were made with a Leica M-4 with the 35mm Summicron F 2 lens on Tri-X Pan film. These type of images withstand the constraints of passing time. They do not become dated. Battery Park, New York City   Quebec Ville

This is a lovey town with a river running through  it that once was an important barge port. One of it's main attractions is a very large toy train set. I made these images at summer's end on a cloudy afternoon. The camera was a Mamyia C-220 and the film was Ektachrome that was scanned.
