The way it was back when. Saturdays in the park.

I the early seventies weekends in Central Park were special. Everyone was making the scene and naturally there were no smart phones to get in the way of social interaction. The place was teeming with young people. We were all young then. All full of idealism... Actually we were really all full of ourselves. However things were more human then. More real in spite of the prevalent artificiality.

The Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge

It's hard to believe that this magnificent place, part of the  Gateway National Park, is in New York City. It's in Queens and on the way to Rockaway beach. Needless to say it's a lovely place to stroll on a nice day. The experience is wonderful.

For France

We do not dwell into politics in this bog. What has been happening recently cannot be defined as politics. It is on outrage against civility. Dacca two weeks ago and Nice last week. Will it ever stop? can civilization halt barbarism? We do live u├Čin interesting and dangerous times.

Tonight it's all over

Tonight is the last day of the Feast at OL of Mt. Carmel on Brooklyn. These photos are from the current feast. I will post some more because I went there after a long absence and shot a few interesting images that I will share.
