Go savor the produce of the season

A great place to go on a Friday night

Image
The Gantry Plaza State Park in Queens, offers spectacular vies of Manhattan. It has orthopedic benches and there's even a long steel table with unning water to help those who like fishing. The area is one of the fastest growing in New York City. There's also a ferry that takes you along the East river to Brooklyn and Manhattan. Naturally there are a large number of trendy restaurants and bars.

Have a wonberful weekend and enjoy your selfies

These are  Kodachrome scans that continue to show the wonderful archival qualities of this great film that alas is no longer available. These images of this state park not to far from New York date from 1971 and were shot with a Leica M-4 and the 35mm F2 Summicron lens.

One of the most wonderful place in this great city
