Image
At least there is some color in these shots. Thee lens was the NIKKOR 20mm F2.8 D. Really a nice lens.

Brain surgery / Juji S2-Pro

Image
A job of a difficult brain operation for Continuum Partners, an old client. It's very gratifying to do photography because one gets to do very interesting assignments. I believe that the lens was the Nikkor 24-85 F2.8-4.

A touch of spring / Canon 10-D

Image
I know that I'm dreaming but this scene will be replayed soon enough and it will also be gone in a flash. The lens was the Canon 16-35 F2.8L and the place is the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

St. Anthony's Feast / Leica M-4

Image
The Saint Anthony's Feast on Sullivan Street in Manhattan hearkens back to the town feasts in Italy. This is one of the more colorful of all these feasts that occur during the summer in many Italian neighborhoods through out the five boroughs. The lens used was the 35mm F2 Summicron and the film was Tri-X developed in FG-7.

Back yard sale long ago / Leica M2-R

Image
Yes a long time ago. A yard sale in Tuxedo, NY. Shot with the 50mm Simmicron F2 on Plus-X developed on D-76 full strength.

There's always Venice / Canon 5D

Image
Yes indeed, I'm counting the days when I will return there. The lens was the Canon EF 24-68 F3.5-4.5. Not a fancy lens but a great travel companion.

Back to nature / Nikon D-200

Image
Back to nature for some colors. This winter with all this endless white on white is unnerving. Here the lens was the 17-55 F 2.g Nikkor G. The place is the incomparablr Brooklyn Botanic Garden, on a nice late fall morning.

One more from the archives / Canon FT

Image
A Sunday long ago afternoon at Central park at the Bethesda Fountain. It used to attract a very eclectic group of people. I used the canon 85mm F1.8 FL. The film was Tri-X developed in D-76 siluted 1:1.

Close up / Canon 1D III

Image
Shot indoor on a rainy May day with an old Lensbaby. Just fooling around.

Can you remember when the New York times was 15 cents and the post 5 cents? Can you remember when news stands were not owned by Indians in NYC?
