Down memory lane
Le Jardin de Luxenbourg is a truly world class urban space the type that shoe their mettle only in European capitals. We usually stay in an hotel near by so that we can enjoy it with only a short walk. This image is from a trip we made in 1972. The place hasn't changed much in terms of usage. The same chairs are there. It has only become more beautiful. This picture reflect Parisians relaxing on a cool Sunday afternoon.

The beginning
This was one of my very first shot that I deemed to be good and sort of kindled my interest in photography. I had just returned from Europe and the camera was borrowed Kodak Retina folding 35 mm camera that was made in Germany. I had taken a few interesting photos in Venice and Paris before this also with the retina but this image of downtown Manhattan from Brooklyn Height's promenade made me realize that I could take pictures. Following this, I took courses and the rest, as they say, is history, It's a tribute to Kodak's Kodachrome II that this slide, shot in September of 1967, has kept it's color and brilliance.
