Keep your eyes open.

While waiting out side the store where my wife and doughtier were shopping, I just started to fool around with my camera. Pictures are everywhere. I like the results.

Let the caroling begin

Image
These children were performing Christmas carols for the bishop in an event i covered for the Diocese a few years ago. Let me wish all of you a Merry Christmas and thanks for visiting.

Winter is here

Image
As many of you have gathered if you have visited, you know that I abhor winter. But it does allow for some interesting images. These are actually Kodachrome scan from the early seventies.

The Williamsburgh Bridge

Image
It may not be the best known of New York's  East River bridges but the Williamsburgh Bridge is one of the busiest. It also has subway tracks and pedestrian walkways. But what interests me is it's architecture. It is actually quite beautiful. These images were made ad dusk when the light becomes magical.

It's always the light

Image
Unless one understands light and how it plays into an image one cannot take interesting photos. After all. photography is graphics with light. These are photos taken in early spring. Shot in early morning - the same applies in late day - when the sunlight is at low angles  and creates magical effects.   .

Cute faces to liven up the new week

There's nothing like the beautiful face of a chid to make one happy.

Enjoy your Sunday
