It's never too early to think of a trip to Venice / Canon 5D
Yes indeed. how I miss thee, Spring cannot come soon enough for a return trip. Just cannot get enough of Venice. Short with he 24-85 3.5-4.5 EF. No fancy lens. No need to take a heavy lens on a rip when a lighter and cheaper one will do just fine. The L lenses stay home.
