These archival 120 Ektachrome scans dating from 1970, were shot at the Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island. It is one of the nicest places to visit and we go there a few tines a year. It had great collections of camellias and orchids plus a wonderful greenhouse. BTE one slide was converted to black and white just for fun. The color on the original was still good.

The candid shot
Whenever I was on assignment. I always tried to capture candid images that showed people as they truly were. Always keeping in mind to respect the dignity of the subject. I would never shoot images that would show people in unflattering situations. If they realized that I was shooting I would ask
permission. Their reactions to the camera was always interesting.
