Buon appetito

Image
Just showing off some of my dishes. Pasta with cherry tomatoes and zucchini squash [ pasta con pomodorini e zucchine ] and a side dish or contorno consisting of beets and Brussels sprouts. I eat therefore I am. Photography has always come after food.

So many tourists

Image
There are so many tourists  each day tn Venice that the authorities are thinking of limiting access to the city. These images were shot in early April not really in the high tourist season.

The way to the parking lot in Siena

At the Palazzo Ravizzi hotel in Sena, Tuscany, you must go down this enchanted path with steps and walkways that are covered with white roses. This is what heaven must be like or should be like.

Say goodby to Fujifilm Black and White film and paper

Image
What will they call themselves now? Fuji's last line of Black and White film, the Acros Neopan 120 and 35mm, will soon be no more. They recently announced that October 2018 will be the last time you can get any more products of the film line. If that wasn't enough, the company is going to stop making B&W photo paper by the end of 2020 as well. This will be the first time in Fuji's 82 year history that they don't make a Black and White film product. It. was inevitable but still sad. Although I love digital for color, no printer can match the depth that a print on photo paper gives you.

Coming soon...
