The pigeons of piazza San Marco
One of the main attractions for tourists in Piazza San Marco in Venice are the pigeons. You buy a bag of seeds from vendors who are conveniently located in the square and then you get surrounded by pigeons who appear to be insatiable. Naturally photos must be taken. It's all in good fun.

This is a must ride to take if one goes to the Amish country in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. It is not only nostalgic but, at the reight time of day and year, it's enchanting.
