Strasburg, PA

Image
This lovely town in the heart of Amish country is absolutely a must see place. I love it's classical American architecture. Even the poles that in many places can be rather ugly, appear to belong here.

The fascination with trains

There's on ongoing fascination with rail roads but an even stronger one with steam trains and engines. These images are from Strasburg, PA in Lancaster County's Amish country. A fascinating area to visit.

Fifty shades of green

Putting aside the obvious name plagiarism  having to do with "that" book, green is a lovely color and during this period it's glorious in its endless shades.

When it all comes together

Image
Sometimes it just happens. A photo will just appear in front of your eyes and it all comes together. This is Siena in early evening when the light is magical.

Windows

Image
I'm always looking for photos or for  possible ones. Actually I no longer need a camera  because I go around photographing with my mind. After taking so many photos, I find it annoying sometimes to carry a camera. I see images everywhere. These windows are an example of my craziness.  There are countless  ones stored in my brain, but those I cannot post. I had my camera  this time so I took the picture. These  are from the Barnes Museum in Philadelphia.
