Photo of the day Jan 30, 2010 Canon 5DII

The 5DII with the modest 28mm f2.8 EF. The woods in north east Pennsylvania with little snow on a very cold day. Just yesterday, late afternoon sun.

Photp of the day, Jan 29 2010 Canon 5DII

Shot yesterday with the 5DII and the 16-35 2.8L. Some barrel distortion is visible but what the hell, who cares. The funny thing is that the photo was taken in color but it was such a gray day that it appears to be B&W. It was shot from the club house of Ft. Hamilton where I was shooting an event.

Photo of the day, Jan 26 2010 Mikon D2H

Just a mere 4 mega pixels a,d a very maligned sensor but the D2H delivered in spades. This photo was taken at the Irish Breakfast at Brooklyn's Boro Hall on 3-17-2005 [St. Patrick's Day]. I do not relall the lens used. At times, the D2H would really bring out subtle and delicate skin tones such as in this subject.

I always return to the D1X for it's great skin tones. This shot was taken at an Ashtma Day event at St. Mary's Hospital, my client. The lens was the 24-85 2.8-4 Nikkor. Nice lens.
