Archival slide scans
These three Kodachrome II scans date from the early seventies ans were all from the area of Manhattan known as the East Side near Lexington Avenue and 28th Street. This was the area near my old studio at 26th Street and Lexington Avenue. I would get off the subway at 28th Street and take shots at of the neighborhood. The area is somewhat different now. The main difference is the plethora of Italian restaurants that have been established since then

Cheap thrills
These images were all made with a Spiratone semi fish eye lens. Some of you may remember Spiratone, the king of all gadgets and cheap lenses. This was a very inexpensive and totally manual lens. It didn't even focus. It was neat and although it had all sorts of aberrations it was fun to use. The camera was the Fuji S-1 Pro my first serious digital camera.
