This image was shot using my old Olympus E-PL2 and a recently purchased an Olympus 40-150 R lens. I used the soft focus filter to give the image the mood I wanted.
The classic farmers' market
This time of the year is the perfect time to visit the farmers' market in Corvallis, Oregon. The season starts earlier than in the north east and the berries are absolutely phenomenal along with the vegetables that are divine. It makes you forget the long rainy season. Corvallis is a really a wonderful place.
Old mill. long ago
These photos were taken in the fall o 1972 in Westerly, Rhode Island. My wife and I were on a camping trip and sort of ran into this old mill. The film was Kodachrome II, the cameras were Canon FT's both with 0mm F 1.4 FL lenses. These images have held up very well.
Cute kids
Whenever I had a photo shoot the ones that I really liked were the ones with children. I had several clients that ran day care centers and whenever I shot there I always tried to come up with photos that I liked. Of course there were the ones that I had to take to satisfy the clients but that was work.
Winter in Coney Island
As we enter our summer in New York, I want to post some wintertime images of Coney Island shot the winter of 1974, when it had hit bottom and was almost destroyed by new housing projects. Well Coney Island is actually better than ever and has undergone a resurgence of sorts. It is once again a wonderful place to visit and swim and enjoy the rides.
