In honor of Italy's new President.

I am very proud that Italy's new Head of State is Sergio Mattarella also born in Castellammare del Golfo, my beloved home town in Sicily. I hope him great success. This one is dedicated to you, Mr. President.

Siracusa, old archival image

Shot in Ortygia, the heart of Siracusa in Sicily. These "cordai" were showing the old way of making rope. Shot with the Canon Ft with the Canon 50mm F 1.4 FL lens on Kodak Tri-X film.

A classic from the days of film

This is one of my favorite travel shots. Not only do I remember when I took it but also all the details.
It was shot with the Leica M-4 and the 35mm Summicron F2 on Kodak Panatomic-X developed in Agfa Rodinol in 1:75 dilution for maximum acutance. As the song goes: "I remember it well...."

Baby it's nasty outside

So naturally I think of flowers and warm weather. Please put up with me. BTW, these were all shot in my backyard.
