I am very proud that Italy's new Head of State is Sergio Mattarella also born in Castellammare del Golfo, my beloved home town in Sicily. I hope him great success. This one is dedicated to you, Mr. President.

Shot on a warm April day several years ago with the phenomenal Fuji S1- Pro whose puny 3.4 mega pixel sensor may still be unbeaten in terms of color rendition.

A classic from the days of film

This is one of my favorite travel shots. Not only do I remember when I took it but also all the details. It was shot with the Leica M-4 and the 35mm Summicron F2 on Kodak Panatomic-X developed in Agfa Rodinol in 1:75 dilution for maximum acutance. As the song goes: "I remember it well...."

These images are from a performance given by the students that take part in the Walter K Hoerning Fund's enrichment program. It is an organization that helps underprivileged inner city boys. This is Matthew, a very talented and gifted boy.
