Gnocchi or potato and flour dumplings, in a cheese sauce. Very tasty and fillings not to mention delicious.

The way I want to remember President Carter. I photo graphed him from the media truck while covering the Columbus Day parade for an Italian paper in 1976. Next to him was Pavarotti, the parade's Grand Marshall. Nice memories.

  Once upon a time there were carriages on Central Park South, in front of the Plaza hotel. Now the carriages are gone and the hotel is a condominium. Go figure. This shot dates from the late seventies. The hotel was undergoing some renovations then.

  A simple dish that is deceptive, An example of complex simplicity. In order to get it right it takes some skill. The sautéed broccoli must not burn yet they must get some of that fried flavor. Nevertheless, it's a great side dish.
