The question asked in DP Review was:" Why does the Olympus Pen looks attractive?"

THIS WAS MY REPLY:
It may be nostalgia or the fact that I have tried in vain to get a rangefinder camera that is versatile and affordable. Putting aside the fact that it does not have a range finder, the camera has an uncanny versatility with its many available lens mounts that it almost becomes irresistible. It's small size, it's retro look and all round feel, create a quite attractive package. It has a lot in common with the Panasonic LX 3. We all know that Epson tried with their Voigtlander RF but never went anyway, and the Leica M8 is not what it should have been. Leica takes it's time in making changes so this camera will remain what it is for years. It is nice but "no sigar ." So we are back to the Olympus. I hope that in a future model a viewfinder, even an EVF will be added. As for the 4/3 system, at 12 mega pixels it will do fine noise wise as long as one doesn't push the ISO. But with that kind of mirror less camera one can hold it a slow speeds.
This is why I personally like the idea of the digital pen F.
